Welcome, friend. I am a crypto lawyer fighting for a freer future. You may also know me as Gregory[1] Schneider, a seasoned attorney with extensive BigLaw™ and in-house experience at both a traditional financial institution and top 50 layer-1 crypto project.

Here you will find my collected writings and a few fun projects that I've built in my spare time:

  • the easiest to use crypto litigation tracker
  • a crypto law primer (forthcoming)
  • an interactive tool to map how many weeks of your life you’ve lived and may have left
  • a visual debt freedom calculator using the snowball method
  • a fun way to add Meet Summer Glasses to any image
  • for The Memes by 6529 fans, a live updated calculation of TDH stats
  • Why should you believe anything I say about legal matters? I'm a lawyer with 12 years experience, 2 years appellate clerking, 6 years as a litigator at an AmLaw 50 firm, 4 years in-house (2 tradfi, 2 at top 50 crypto project). I've tried multiple cases, successfully defended a case from the trial court to the US Supreme Court, negotiated hundreds of contracts, and advised senior exeecutives in the most critical times for their businesses. Information about current specific legal activity/employment is available on my ethics disclosure.

About the profile image: I am a big fan of NFTs, and of crypto art generally, as well as the writings of Punk 6529. As a tribute, I created this pixelated image similar to a Crypto Punk (a nod to 6529) and to look like Summer from XCOPY's summer.jpg. I'm pleased to say it was well received by both XCOPY and 6529.

[1] This focus breaking footnote is to highlight that I prefer to be called Gregory, not Greg.
